Informal
Work Talks and Teachings by Maurice Nicoll (Compiled by Lewis
Creed)
Almost everything in this book is published here
for the first time, although some extracts are included from
Unforgotten
Fragments by Beryl Pogson. The talks in this book took place mainly
in Maurice Nicoll's study at
the various group houses between 1940 and
1950.
The contents of this book are compiled for people
who have already studied the Work Ideas, so no attempt is
made in this
book to explain the terminology.
This small volume offers no substitute for Maurice
Nicoll's Psychological Commentaries on the Teachings of
G.I.Gurdjieff
and P.D.Ouspensky, nevertheless this book will provide new insights
into Nicoll's thinking and his
informal teaching.
